We hired Charlie’s team to provide live music videography for our summer concert series and were blown away by the results. They brought a multi-camera setup, captured crisp live audio and edited everything together in a way that made the performances feel even more dynamic on screen. Charlie was an amazing videographer!  We added video as a last minute thing for our wedding and couldn’t be more pleased with that decision.  At the end of the day, I’ve gotten more joy out of watching the videos from the wedding than looking at the pictures.  It just takes you back to the moment and you feel like you’re re-living it all again.  For anyone on the fence, hire Charlie to record your wedding if at all possible. Charlie has many packages to fit any price constraints, and it will be worth any amount you spend.  We kept adding to the package and each add-on was worth the money.  We paid about half as much as most other videographers charge and have 3 cameras worth of video for about 80% of the moments of the day.  You know how when you watch the NFL and get 3 different angles on a replay?  Well you’ll have that for your Great-Aunt Betty’s crazy dance moves when she has had her 3rd Mojito. Charlie was also just a joy to work with.  He needed zero instruction and is a complete pro, and he was never in the way (I barely noticed him).  He got all the videos including the edited versions back to us within a week. Would hire again but hoping this first wedding will stick 😉

I used Charlie Walkrich and his associates for music and pictures at my wedding. He offers a bundle of services needed for any event. He made it easy offering multiple vendors within one company – music, lighting, photographer, video and equipment. He made suggestions that I did not think of when stressed and trying to plan a wedding. Overall, he made wedding planning much more simple, which allowed me to focus on other aspects of wedding planning. The staff is very professional, kind, fun, adaptable and offers good ideas for music options and photo poses. The photos were creative, fun and depicted our personalities perfectly. I strongly recommend using this company for any event.

I hired Walkrich Signature Events for a university event last year. Working with Charlie was a great pleasure from start to finish. He had the full vision of how everything should be while giving me options and letting me decide on many of the aspects. His team easily handled a fairly complex audio visual setup like it was a super easy thing to do. Everything worked very well without a single problem. The event was a huge success and I have received many compliments for my work (which in fact was Charlie’s work). I’m sorry it took so long for me to post this review. I’ll definitely be working with Charlie and his team again and I sincerely recommend Walkrich Signature Events for all your event planning, consulting, coordination and audio visual needs.

Charlie was extremely quick to respond to all my questions, and was extremely helpful in helping my fiancé and I choose (and customize) the video packages offered. I requested that the videographer be extremely discreet in filming (I didn’t want any of the guests’ view to be blocked!) and I honestly didn’t notice the videographer during the ceremony and reception–they really honored our request which was wonderful! Got the raw footage less than a week after the wedding–looks wonderful, and for a really amazing price!

We are so happy we chose Charlie Walkrich and his company for our wedding in May 2017! Charlie was our DJ/MC, he provided the jazz trio for our cocktail hour and also the videographer. Charlie was reliable, responsive and dependable. He was very much detail oriented, and gave us suggestions when we requested them while we were creating the timeline for the evening. That timeline that he helped us create was an important part in making sure our wedding flowed beautifully from one function to the next while we just enjoyed the evening. The videos that Charlie created are absolutely amazing – it is so much fun to relive these beautiful moments. His ability to edit many hours of raw footage into a loving keepsake is truly a wonderful skill he has, and means so much to us and our loved ones. Several of our guests said that our wedding was one of the best they had ever attended, and Charlie is one of the main reasons for that compliment! Later that year his company also provided a funeral videographer for our famility event.

My fiancée did not want a videographer and pretty much told me “no”.  We weren’t looking for anything fancy and my uncle offered to do it for $1,000, but yet again I was turned down.  I decided to search the internet and found their great reviews and their cost to be within my price range, which at that point was nothing.  I signed the contract and paid my deposit online.  I was hesitant at first since I had no human contact with this company and was a bit worried that this was a scam, but DJ Charlie has always been quick to respond and kept in touch with me throughout the year.  They arrived on time and I was able to have the video that same day.  They are very professional and worth a lot more than what I paid for.  They even gave me a 2nd camera for free.

Charlie and David did an amazing job at our wedding! We weren’t sure if we would be able to get a videographer and cut it down to the wire. They were available on very short notice..a week in advance kind of short notice! And were very affordable and great people. David did a wonderful job getting video of everything we wanted and needed on our big day. We couldn’t be happier! We appreciated all their hard work and our video was waiting for us at home when we got back from our honeymoon. So great!

We just used Charlie Walkrich to video our December 27th wedding. Videography was a last minute decision on our part, but Charlie made the process very easy and stress-free. I contacted him through his company’s website, and I received an email back from him the same day. Every communication going forward was answered within a few hours! I really appreciated the responsiveness. We had three cameras to capture all of the special moments of our wedding. Charlie made sure to ask me before he started if there was anything is particular that we wanted to capture, and he got everything that I asked for. We received the finished product a week after our wedding and were very happy!!! I would highly recommend Charlie and his team. Charlie is patient, kind, and very professional. If you want a video of your important day, but don’t have thousands of dollars to spend, this is definitely the way to go. Thank you, Charlie!!

I found DJ Charlie and Cheap Wedding Videography here on yelp.  At first the name of the business caught my attention “Cheap”, lol..definitely I was looking for someone who would be affordable and competitive, while not losing quality.  I checked out a few companies, looked at their websites and videos and of course, read the reviews.  I felt like I had to talk to a few. Though my wedding coordinator and photographer had not heard of him, I still felt that couldn’t sway me. After seeing videos and reading reviews, I sent a contact message to Charlie.  Here’s where Charlie really caught my attention and in a short time, won me over.   I had questions, quite a few and in each email I exchanged with Charlie, he was quick to respond, always very professional and polite and made me feel comfortable asking as much as I  needed before my choice.  I put a lot of info into my messages (clearly) and he pulled out everything I was asking about and in detail, responded. He would also ask me questions that would help him understand what my vision was and give me an idea of what having extra cameras or another person would mean. Once I decided and mailed my contract and deposit, and ongoing payments, he’d confirm he received them and would give me any updated contract info.  He asked me for my other professionals info I had contracted with for the event so he could reach out to them and coordinate.  On the day of they showed up as arranged at our hotel to take pre wedding video of me and my girls getting ready, my wedding attire and the groom & guys.  The wedding was a blur and I was so focused on the whirlwind day, I hardly noticed them working..  It wasn’t until I got our videos back and I could see what all his work turned out to be.  I watched the trailer from my phone w/several others and everyone thought it was really good. Even my husband commented he was really glad we went with him and at first wasn’t sure (the name). Here’s the thing, in pricing other videographers, they were very expensive…DJ Charlie’s pricing was more affordable, the videos are beautiful!! They captured all the important moments and more. With the pricing, I was able to upgrade to have an additional San Diego wedding videographer and another camera.  I had my trailer back in a few days and I believe I had my my ceremony and reception back in a week.  He was working on in July 4th!  Wow.  I didn’t expect the video back quite that fast.   I would absolutely hire Charlie again, no doubt.  I don’t know about everyone else, but I often feel like customer service is hard to find.  With DJ Charlie, we got outstanding customer service. Thank you DJ Charlie, it was a pleasure to work w/you.

They captured our entire concert flawlessly – great camera angles, amazing sound quality and a beautiful final edit. We’ve already booked them again for our next show. From start to finish, working with Charlie and his team was an absolute pleasure. They arrived early, communicated clearly throughout the event and were extremely respectful of both the performers and the audience. What really stood out to us was their attention to detail—not only did they film from multiple angles, but they also used high-quality mics and editing techniques that made the final video feel like a true professional concert film.
